Consistently achieving product quality of the highest level is only possible when every step in product development is clearly defined, and when maximum quality requirements are implemented for each individual process. It is the Quality Assurance department’s role to ensure that this is the case throughout our company.
This entails working closely with all production-tasked employees to identify deficiencies and risks in the production process and the value chain, to eliminate their causes, and to test the effectiveness of remedial measures. An important component of their work is to instill a lasting quality-based philosophy amongst employees.
Quality Assurance has the further responsibility to select and procure testing equipment, as well as to assist in the selection of suppliers, and conduct audits of those suppliers. The department also performs regular internal audits. The ISO/TS 16949 certification of all its plants attests to the effectiveness of Sitech’s quality management. In other words, reliable quality is something our customers can verifiably count on.
