Sitech is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, and consists of Sitech Sp. z o.o. in Polkowice (Poland) and Sitech GmbH in Wolfsburg (Germany). Sitech Sp. z o.o. is the parent company of Sitech GmbH. Sitech also has sites in Emden and Hannover (Germany), as well as in Shanghai (China).
